REFLECTION #2

Reflective Observation:

Revisiting foundational theories after years of practical application prompted a profound appreciation for the strategic elements inherent in HR decision-making, as noted by Warson and Reissner (2023). This reflection phase brought to light the intricate dance between theory and practice, particularly highlighting how contemporary HR challenges are underpinned by these academic principles.

Abstract Conceptualisation:

Through an in-depth review of critical scholarly articles, I integrated my professional HR experience with emerging strategic HRM discussions. This conceptual phase allowed me to forge connections between real-world HR issues and their theoretical underpinnings, aligning with the CIPD Knowledge area of K01.01C PEOPLE PRACTICE by weaving integrated people practices into the fabric of strategic thinking.

Active Experimentation:

Looking to the future, I am eager to apply the module's academic insights to the evolution of HR strategies and practices. Drawing upon the CIPD Behaviour of B06.01C INSIGHTS FOCUSED, I plan to adopt a disciplined methodology in deciphering and addressing the root causes of organisational challenges, using the insights to craft resilient and strategically agile HR frameworks.
