What Is Pay It Forward?
Pay It Forward is a movie directed by Mimi Leder. This movie is about a social studies teacher who gives his junior high class an assignment to think of an idea that will change the world for the better! Trevor McKinny creates an idea called Pay It Forward. Pay It Forward is where 1 person helps 3 individual people and once you help them they have to help 3 other people. These other people can be the people you know or people you don't know. Once you help those people don't forget to say "Pay It Forward."
What did I do?
For my Pay It Forward, I did two planned and two unexpected things. The two planned was that I donated clothing at Salvation Army and that I babysat for 8 hours for free. The unexpected ones I did was that my family and I drove someone home on Christmas day and that I gave banana bread and coffee to a Red Cross worker.
Why Did I do it?
I chose my two planned ones because I know lots of people really need warm clothing, especially during the winter. Also, I babysat for free because my aunt really needed someone to babysit my little cousin.
Who Did I help?
I helped my aunt, the people who need clothing, a man who needed a ride home, and the Red Cross worker whom I offered food to.
