His Story

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Michel grew up during the Great War of Africa.

Michel had witnessed the pain his father felt when he has tortured and the pain his mother felt when she was raped but that is not the worst. Michel was abducted by soldiers at the age of five and was turned into a child soldier.

Unfortunately, that is not the only hardship Michel faced.

He was forced to be blindfolded, to hold a gun and shoot. When he did shoot he did not know that it was his best friend.

Now Michel is an inspirational speaker that has shared his story with 100,000 people all over North America.

He has shared the stage with Craig and Marc Kielburger, Dr. Jane Goodall, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Mia Farrow and former Prime Minister Paul Martin. He has caught the attention of national media like CBC, CTV, and major daily newspaper.

He has inspired people to believe in their ability and to create change. He has changed people's understanding of life and had made them crave for change.
