SHOOTS

1

Glitter Shoot Inspired by

Hannah Altman and Cindy Sherman

In this shoot i used gliiter to represent blood and bruises. The glitter is used to 'Glamourise' Domestic abuse, as it is something that is often hidden away and locked behind closed doors.

It is not often shown in media and its hard for people to speak out about so with my work i am hoping to make people stop, think, and actually look at what is happening.

2

Domestic Abuse Aftermath Shoot inspired by Gregory Crewdson

In this shoot i took photos of the crime scene or what was left of after domestic violence taking place. Like gregory crewdson, i set up the scene and put my own spin on it by adding glitter . This Shoot linked very well with my theme of evidence as it is the forensic view into domestic violence.

Bruise and Burn Shoot Inspired by Hannah Altman and Cindy Sherman

This shoot is Familiar to shoot 1 but using different parts of my body. Using glitter too show bruises and burns in places that are visible for everyone to see.
