A: Working out is the first step to staying healthy for it is not enough to just diet. Your body needs to be toned up regularly and exercising helps keep you fit and improve your overall health. Working out will help prevent heart disease, stroke, obesity, diabetes, back pain, etc. Even 30 minutes a day of exercise is beneficial. If you want to maintain your weight and strengthen your muscles then working out is an absolute must.

Q: Can I lose weight without exercising?

A: A lot of people want to lose weight without exercise but the reality is that this can have disastrous effects on your body. Not exercising leads to reduced muscle mass, decreased bone density, and other health disasters. Losing weight with diet pills, crash diets, etc. will only give you temporary results along with unhealthy side effects.

Q: How does exercise affect metabolism?

A: If you want to increase your metabolism, do exercises that drain the muscles of glucose rather than fatty acids. What this means is, do more high-intensity exercise or strength-training workouts.

Q: What is the best time of day to workout?

A: How often you workout is more important than when you workout. But, the best time to workout is the late afternoon when your body is warmest, your muscles are more flexible, your body is at its strongest, and your blood pressure and heart rate are low.
