Last November 23rd, 24th and 25th Anato organised the 1st Iberoamerican Congress on Tourism Product which took place at Intercontinental Hotel. Representing the bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management, the coordinator, Yasmira Mercado, the professor Roger Agresott and a group of 30 students attended the event.
This congress was adressed to travel agencies, tourism service providers and all those interested in new oportunities and perspectives in this sector. The content developed during this academic event, was very usefull for our students to develop the learning outcome related to recognize the main components of a tourism product, the current needs and legislation for the design of a product.
The last day, the assistants were invited to sign, in a simbolic act, an accord for the contruction of a model of Cartagena as an Inteligent Tourism Destination.
This sucessfull congress closed with the speech of Andreina Morales, the Regional Director of Anato, a graduate of our academic program.
