Dear readers:
Every single edition of Tourism Today is a box of surprises. In this opportunity we would like to share with you two cases of leadership among our students. One of these students is the leader of a social innovation project for his community, a project presented to MinCiencias.
The other one is the student who is the new students' representative before the Academic Council of Unicolombo. Two youth leaderships that let our students develop professional skills.
This edition also shares two academic experiences outside the classroom: The 1st Iberoamerican Congress on Tourism Product at Intercontinental Hotel and the academic visit to Turbaco and Palenque.
The students discovered some historical and cultural aspects of these two places visiting some tourism attractions. This was an academic space to consider some ideas for students to designe new tourism products, as an opportunity to diversify the tourist offer.
