Achilles looked like he wanted to disagree, but the chimera suddenly clawed at him. Its sharp nail nearly touched his left foot. Achilles begrudgingly realized that he couldn’t do this alone, so he firmly nodded and called out to me, "Watch my back!"

I did much more than that. I speedily started running towards the chimera, holding tightly onto my sword. It occurred to me that the way to weaken the chimera was to assail it from ambush. I pulled out my sword, ran behind the beast, and smote its tail. Achilles, surprisingly, followed my lead.

 

The creature began howling in pain. It became even more aggressive, but I smiled heroically as I realised that this beast was weakened. Shortly after, thunder covered the blue skies. It started raining, and I saw Bellaraphon flying back to me on his Pegasus. He had the tip of his spear covered with a lump of lead. He then said, "Watch out, I am about to end this beast."
