There's something that keeps me bothering about this monster, because usually all heroes are able to defeat beasts like that, but now he seems like he’s possessed. Although I didn't want to cooperate with my opponent, I really didn't want some monster to kill him, and I would lose such an opportunity to fight an extraordinarily strong fighter. I said, "Achilles, something is wrong with this monster.

" Of course, as I expected, he answered "I don't care what you think".

I was surprised that I still had patience, but it was for a reason that my teachers taught me to be patient at certain times and not always use force. I have to pull myself together and use clear thoughts.

Keeping a clear head in the battle is very difficult since Achilles is not willing to cooperate whatsoever. For some reason, Achilles seems to be slightly worried. Nevertheless, I get ready for battle. I raise my sword, clench my fists, and rush towards the ugly beast. The beast is fierce with a piercing gaze; it is very agile and strong. All I can feel is adrenaline rushing throughout my whole body as I brace for impact from the mighty monster.

Surprisingly, Achilles is there to help me. Together we continue our onslaught on the beast. We only manage to graze its chest, which is not more than all the other hits we were able to muster. As we are furiously fighting, Achilles says something about his ankle being his weakest point. I think to myself, "His body, muscles saved by armor, are nearly impenetrable, and yet he has a weakness such as this; well then, I am stronger". With that in mind, I gain enough strength for us to continue our attack, rushing in front of the front protection and Achilles - our back. I raise my sword and stab it through the beast's chest. While it wails in pain, it claws my left eye out and deeply injures Achilles dominant right arm.

Achilles and I have not hurt the beast much, as she – chimera, a fire-breathing female monster resembling a lion in the forepart, a goat in the middle, and a dragon behind, is almost invincible. She stands firmly on her feet and gazes angrily at us lying on the ground.

Suddenly, a lightning flashes as if from a clear sky, and the loud thunder makes even the chimera raise its head to the sky. The great Bellerophon is coming down on the winged horse Pegasus with a bridle given to him by Athena. The hunting grounds of the chimera were easy to decipher. It is a wasteland reeking of smoke and rotting flesh.
