She flung her house’s front door open and ran to her room, slamming the door shut. Artemis rushed to her room and saw her sobbing in the corner. He bent down next to her, embracing her and trying to calm her down. A few moments later, Artemis heard Selene’s heartbeat calm down. He calmly asked what had happened, and Selene revealed the mysterious incident: how she had found herself in a huge factory with some weird machines, how her evil father burst out of the flaming machine and tried to catch her, and how he almost succeeded. Artemis asked if she was okay. Selene then explained how he grabbed her by the shoulder, but for some reason he let her go, and then she got time to escape. Artemis went pale and finally admitted, "It’s time for you to know the truth," he sighed. “A long time ago, there was King Demetrius, who had a jealous elder sister. She was the eldest sibling and the heir, but their father chose Demetrius. It was too annoying and unbearable for her. So, she did the unthinkable: she used dark magic to curse the throne. From then on, anyone who got that throne would be condemned to lose their mind over power. Over centuries, this throne had been passed on, now it was your father’s turn.”
