Fans have their say

Q. Do you have a memorable moment or game in the Manly v Parramatta history?

First one that comes to mind is the game at Parramatta in 2010 in which we came from 20-nil down to claim a 24-20 victory. That game sticks with me courtesy of the try scored which started from a play from within the eels own in-goal area. Hayne produced one of his amazing runs and then linked up with Mortimer who linked up with Tahu for the try. Come from behind wins can be so much sweeter because you get to throw the jibes and insults endured earlier in the game back at the opposition. Always feels a bit better when it’s Manly too.

Q. Favourite current player?

I have to say Sandow. I was really unimpressed when we first picked him up from Souths, and when he didn’t seem into it for a while, but his attitude really changed over the last season.

Q. Prediction/hope for the 2015 SeasON

Prediction is that we will be fighting for one of the last spots in the eight… my hope is that we grab one of those spots in the eight.

Q. Why is Parramatta going to beat Manly in the season opener?

Manly will be so focussed on Watmough (I am still unimpressed about that signing) that they will forget we have a few other guys on the park, and they will sneak in some points.
