Q. How long have you been an Eels fan and why/how did you come to follow the Eels?
I’ve been an eels fan since about the age of 4. My dad wanted me to be a Tigers supporter (he was born in the Balmain area), and I was by default for the first four years, but then I wanted to support the eels because they were the team that represented where I lived… probably helped that when I was four it was 1981 and things were looking up… very, very up… for the eels at that time. In my defence, I never considered changing teams in the multiple periods the team has been struggling since.
Q. fAVOURITE FORMER PLAYER?
Nathan Hindmarsh. His work ethic, attitude, and loyalty could never be faulted.
