Dear readers:
In this 31st. edition, we want to share with you important goals of some students of the bachelor in Business and Hospitality Management, and how cultural events reinforce their skills to face tourism sector challenges.
It is an honor for our academic program to know that one of our students' project was recognized in the last local call of Redcolsi. A group of 7th semester students presented the project: Caribbean Gastronomy Museum which received an excellent evaluation from the jury. This students were invited to present their project in the next national call organized by Redcolsi.
In this edition we also highlight some students' profile with interesting stories, for example, a queen of a beauty contest and a student who loves restaurants and bars businesses. Besides this interesting stories, you will find details of our celebration of the World Tourism Day and the participation of our academic program in events such as the panel against the human trafficking, organized by the Interior Secretary of Cartagena de Indias. One of the guest was Natalia Bayona, the Executive Director of UNWTO, who shared some strategies for tourism sector in Cartagena de indias.
