I am Yajaira Alguero. I'm 31 years old, I am married and I have a beautiful son.
I was born in Barranquilla, but I grew up in Santa Marta. Now I'm living in Cartagena because my husband is from here. We are a funny family. We work in tourism and we enjoy our job. In our free time we are always going to the park or we do some different activities with our son.
Talking about my experience in the tourism, I have been working in tourism since I was 16 years old, in the area of the entertaiment, which consists on activities, dance, and service. The first hotel where I worked was Decameron Galeon Santa Marta. I worked there for 4 years.
After that I had the opportunity for travel to Ecuador, and I worked in Decameron Punta Centinela during 4 years. In 2017 I came back to Colombia and i started to work in Las Americas hotel during 8 months.
I quit my job because I wanted another opportunity in the same industry but in another area, such as an administration one, so I decided to study the bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Unicolombo.
Why tourism? because I love to deal with other cultures, and people around the world. Why English? Because I can access to different opportunities.
Finally, my challenge is to achieve all my goals in a short time, but my professional biggest dream is to have my own tourism business.
