●      In the Humanities/Social Science and Modern Foreign Languages category, French recorded the lowest passing percentage, with 41.2% for males, 57.6% for females, and 52.3% overall.

●      Physical Education, within the same category, had the highest passing percentage, with 90.7% for males, 92.3% for females, and 91.3% overall.

●      For Business Studies, Principles of Accounts had the lowest passing percentage, with 71.1% for males, 75.5% for females, and 74.0% overall.

●      Information Technology, in the same category, achieved the highest passing percentage, with 84.1% for males, 86.9% for females, and 85.5% overall.

●      Food and Nutrition emerged as the most popular TVET subject, with 360 males, 1063 females, and 1423 candidates in total. It also boasted the highest passing percentage among TVET subjects, with 82.2% for males, 91.6% for females, and 89.2% overall.

●      Trend data for the period 2018-2022 reveals that the lowest recorded average pass rate regionally for English A during this period occurred in 2021, at 62.7%. In that year, 6144 candidates (2803 males and 3341 females) took the examination, the largest number within the period.

●      Conversely, the highest recorded average pass rate regionally for the same period was 86.7%, observed in 2020. In that year, 3065 candidates (1406 males and 1659 females) sat the examination, representing the smallest number within the 2018-2022 period as shown in the diagram below.
