More than 480 EWCSD students across ten school sites participated in the Boys and Girls Club Summer Enrichment Program. With a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Art and Art History, Sign Language, and immersive hands-on projects, this program stimulated students’ imaginations and passion for learning. Supplemental programs also included yoga sessions and a trip to the California Science Center.
When asked about their experience with the Boys and Girl’s Club, 96% of families and students said that they had an “Excellent” or “Good” experience.
Students in the Boys and Girls Club Summer Enrichment Program enjoyed unique experiences beyond traditional learning. The fusion of STEM, Art, Sign Language, and hands-on projects created a dynamic learning environment that sparked their curiosity, and cultivated creativity.
