Administrator's Retreat

The EWCSD admin team set their sights on the 23-24 school year during a series of large group team building activities and small focused planning sessions. Certificated administrators centered their discussions around launching instructional initiatives and PLC’s. Classified staff collaborated on goal setting, understanding the Classified CBA and a review of the  FRISK framework. Through the development of innovative strategies for enhancing student learning, refining district policies, and optimizing administrative processes, EWCSD has entered the 23-24 school year even better prepared to better serve our students and staff.

Prior to the 23-24 school year, EWCSD organized a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Planning Day. The event, which included 45 administrators, site coaches and other PBIS team members, placed an emphasis on four key areas, including operating procedures, professional development, parent engagement, and data collection.

This workshop was centered around the District's overall commitment to fostering supportive, productive school settings and developing the most effective strategies for positively managing student behavior.
