"They are not terrible parents, they are just busy adults.“, Storky used to say to himself. " They just want me to grow up to be an independent, smart boy“.

When Storky was a toddler, whenever he would be anxious or downhearted, his mind would go to his so-called ‘‘Happy place’’. He was always a very thoughtful and imaginative little fellow, that is why he used to create and draw ideal storylines and worlds. Each time, Storky would create a new scenario, but with similar details. Most of these worlds were about having parents who paid attention to him, having a group of friends and a pet. He would hide under the bed and drift away to the fantasies whenever his parents were arguing or so. The made-up world wasn’t that much different from ours, but of course, him being an eight-year-old boy, he would add some fantasy details such as a Pegasus and edible grass. Other than that he still was a normal boy, living in Hullybeck with his mother and father.
