Definition: Average number of pupils (students) per teacher at a specific level of education in a given school year.

Percentage of Private Enrolment

 

 Definition: Enrolment in private educational institutions at a given level of education expressed as a percentage of total enrolment at the same level.

Educational Attainment of the Population Aged 15-24 Years and Above

 

Definition: Percentage distribution of population aged 15-24 years and above according to the highest level of education attained or completed with reference to ISCED.

Percentage Distribution of Enrolment in Secondary Education by Type of Education Program

 

Definition: Percentage distribution of students enrolled in secondary education, according to the orientation of the education program, i.e. general and vocational/technical education, including teacher training.

Gross Primary Graduation Ratio (GPGR)

 

 Definition: Total number of graduates from the last grade of primary education, regardless of age, expressed as a percentage of the population at the theoretical graduation age for primary.

Out-of-School Children-Primary

  

Definition: Children in the official primary school age range who are not enrolled in either primary or secondary schools.
