was the one who did everything at Daejeon and if it wasn’t for Him, we would not have been able to do anything. I was humbled because I was thinking that we did it but it wasn’t from our power but by the strength of God that we were even able to lead the camp at Daejeon. I was reminded again that God had everything under His control even at times when it seemed He didn’t. Another thing that I was reminded of after this trip is that students need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ constantly. Specifically, the students in Korea are under pressure to be successful, powerful, rich, and pretty/handsome and all of this amidst the technology that they are bombarded with. I firmly believe that what the students need is genuine love and care through the sharing of the gospel and the teaching of God’s inerrant Word. I believe it’s not just about programs and retreats, which are not bad things, but the focus to be about the person and work of Jesus Christ. It’s not what we naturally think we should be focused on when we minister to the students, but I believe that as we continue to minister to students and as we use our creativity and ideas to serve the students in different and fun ways, we absolutely cannot forget why we are doing it. Not for our egos to be boosted or our personal glory or the applause of others but for the GLORY OF GOD and the GOOD OF OTHERS. I pray that God would move the hearts of the leaders and His people in Korea to have this heart attitude as they serve humbly and with God’s glory and the advancement of His Kingdom in mind. I pray that God would raise up humble leaders to help revitalize the Korean church and that the gospel of Jesus Christ would be the foundation of everything that is done in Jesus’ name. It seems like it may be awhile for that to start and be sustained but I believe that God is sovereign, and His purposes will be done. LET GOD’S WILL BE DONE IN KOREA! www.fkbc.org 랄리제일한인침례교회 43
