Messy Factor
Have you ever played with commercially made silly
putty or such other gooey fun polymers such as slime
or Gak? Well thanks to science and everyday household
materials you can make your very own slimy, sticky
moldable and drippy glob of fun.
Materials and Ingredients: Directions:
• 1 cup white glue (Elmer’s for best results) 1. Pour the glue in the bowl add the coloring at this time.
• 1/4 liquid starch (if you can’t find liquid 2. Slowly pour the starch into the glue and mix
starch spray starch will do)
• Food coloring of your choice
• A plastic bowl
3. If the mixture is too sticky add more starch
4. Squeeze out excess liquid and have a ball. This lovely
clump should be able to bounce when rolled into a ball.
5. Store it in a plastic container or zipper bag.
