Special classrooms with different functions are located
in each floor. The most unique of them all is the children’s
library. In the library, we have sunken internal design,
well-arranged reading nooks and areas, cushions, as
well as innovative cloud lighting. Every detail provides
children with a diverse reading experience. In addition,
there is a miniature golf course on the roof and a light-
shadow classroom that are full of surprises, waiting for
parents and children to explore.
Curriculum Setting
Based on the theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI) of
Harvard Graduate School of Education, the curriculum
of Futian Campus is set up not only in line with children
development standards in North America, Britain,
Australia, New Zealand, Hongkong, and Taiwan, but
also according China standards. Our curriculum also
consists of specialty courses taught by professional
teachers— Orff Music, PE (like swimming and skating),
cooking, planting, and art. As Ivy Education Group’s first
international kindergarten in Shenzhen, Futian Campus
is committed to individualized quality education to
develop children’s multiple intelligences. At Futian
Campus, we are also committed to teaching in English
based on MI with highly qualified teachers in small-sized
classes, just like our current Ivy Academy schools in
Beijing.
Faculty
Each class in Futian Campus has no more than 25
children, taught and well cared for by two Chinese
teachers, one foreign teacher and a caregiver. All of
our teachers have a bachelor’s degree or above. Some
of them are responsible for curriculum development.
Other teachers can also participate in workshops after
their daily teaching to learn more about curriculum
development and corresponding teaching methods.
