Thankful Thursday
On Thursday, students brought in “Thank You” cards and gave them
to our community members like bus ayis, baoans, teachers and
even their friends. What a wonderful way to honor the people who
support and serve us on a daily basis!
Week for Change Fundraiser for
Tongxin Huhui
To finish out the week, on Friday, students jumped and
shot their way to the finish line! They worked very
hard to help raise money for our charity foundation,
Tongxin Huhui! Also, we began collecting goods for the
organization and placing them in the donation box at
the entrance to the campus. We encourage our whole
community to get involved and donate gently used items
or unwanted clothing, bedding, toys or books and bring
them to the school!
Throughout the week, Daystar Sanlitun community has
come to realize that if we really pay attention to our
surroundings and those around us, we can always find
ways to help others and serve our community. No matter
how insignificant it may seem at first glance, our efforts
will make a difference in the end. To those who are
reading this, we invite you to take a moment to look at
your community and come up with your own way to help
make it a better place!
