challenges at work, as well as their keen insights about

Zhenfund partner and CEO Anna Fang, founder of
famous early education brand LittleOasis Jennifer Ma,

The panelists shared their key takeaways for all working

moms in the “traditional” sense. If you are a full-time
mom, that in itself is “work” as well, because you are
dedicating your time and effort on your child/children;
not yourself. This is critically important. But the key
takeaways were:
• Clarify your values and set goals and expectations.
Drop activities that sap your time or energy
• Time management and prioritization
• Take care of yourself
• Make sure what you do fulfills you in some way
• Know there is no “perfect” balance. Letting go.
Ivy’s Distinguished Speaker Series is designed provide
learning opportunities for parents, both when it
comes to raising their children, as well as supporting
their needs. We also at times provide some wonderful
performances for the benefit of the community. Since
its debut in 2011, Chinese and international experts
have been invited to provide professional advice and
practical guidance to parents attending the lectures, so
that parents can stay informed and have the right tools
to foster a brighter future, for their children.
