IN THE NEWS Founder and CEO of Ivy Education Group Jack Hsu Wins Coveted Education Award O n November 28th, China’s internet giant Tencent held their annual Education Award Ceremony under the theme “Global Wisdom for the Future of Education Industry”. Seasoned educators from around China gathered for the event, which included awards for Top Female Educator, and Top Chinese International School, and Top Male Educator. After online voting and judging by authoritative experts and scholars, Ivy Education Group’s founder and CEO Jack Hsu was awarded the Starry Sky Award for Top Male Educator! Mr. Hsu has been engaged in the educational industry since 2003, the year he founded Ivy Education Group. In the following fifteen years, he has led the group’s steady growth, to now include 15 kindergartens and 2 international schools in mainland China. Mr. Hsu introduced the theory of multiple intelligences in the field of preschool education, and has created the only Chinese educational company certified by the Association for Multiple Intelligences. In an interview following the ceremony, Mr. Hsu talked about his understanding of “global vision” and “innovation and change in education”.
