Founder and CEO of Ivy Education Group Jack
Hsu Wins Coveted Education Award
O
n November 28th, China’s internet giant Tencent
held their annual Education Award Ceremony
under the theme “Global Wisdom for the Future
of Education Industry”. Seasoned educators from around
China gathered for the event, which included awards
for Top Female Educator, and Top Chinese International
School, and Top Male Educator.
After online voting and judging by authoritative experts
and scholars, Ivy Education Group’s founder and CEO
Jack Hsu was awarded the Starry Sky Award for Top Male
Educator!
Mr. Hsu has been engaged in the educational industry
since 2003, the year he founded Ivy Education Group.
In the following fifteen years, he has led the group’s
steady growth, to now include 15 kindergartens and
2 international schools in mainland China. Mr. Hsu
introduced the theory of multiple intelligences in
the field of preschool education, and has created the
only Chinese educational company certified by the
Association for Multiple Intelligences.
In an interview following the ceremony, Mr. Hsu
talked about his understanding of “global vision” and
“innovation and change in education”.

“As an education group, our goal is to cultivate students
who are equipped with an international vision and able
to cope with future academic challenges. in terms of
our teaching methods, we constantly strive to innovate
and develop best practices. Providing opportunities for
children to learn with an explorative mind, to learn their
own culture and values instead of certain textbooks are
what truly give meaning to educators.”
Supporting teacher development is just as important
in the field of education, which is why Mr. Hsu also
founded the Ivy Training Institute. According to their
mission statement, “The institute will help support
each and every staff member within our organization to
grow to reach their fullest potential in order to provide
the best learning environment for all of our students.”
Mr. Hsu concluded by saying “No matter which field you
may be in, curiosity is what motivates innovation and
development. So never stop being curious!”
