were encouraged to find ways
to bring about positive changes
in their community as they
commemorated Week of Change.
Let’s take a look at their efforts!
Tuesday- “High Fives
for Helpfulness”
Last Tuesday, as a part of the
Daystar Sanlitun Week for Change
initiative, we participated in
“High Fives for Helpfulness” where
students looked for opportunities
to help their friends and teachers.
After they performed a helpful
act, they were asked to “high
five” another classmate in
acknowledgement of their act of
service.
We Can! Wednesday
As a part of “We Can” Wednesday,
students were encouraged to turn
in a story or picture about one
way they would like to “change
the world” (or their community
or their school…) for the better!
These stories and pictures will
be collected and put together in
a book that will go to our school
library.
