Sports Spectra this year
was organised by four project directors from NUS TLS namely
M.Ganeshkumar, M. Prakash,
Shantiya and Rezvana Fairouse.
This year, Sports Spectra was not
restricted to be only done on
an institutional level but for the
broader Indian youth community
so as to achieve a greater impact in
the society. This was indeed a significant factor that played a part in
the project receiving great support.
The main events organised were
soccer for males and captain’s ball
for females. This year, we had a
total participant rate of 32 soccer
teams and 15 captain’s ball teams
which greatly helped to make this
event a success. We would like to
thank all the participants who
were part of this success.
This year, the team ‘Rojak
Ninos’ were the Champions for
Soccer and the team ‘Republica
Girlz’ was crowned Champions for
Captain’s Ball. Like in the previous year, in addition to the trophy,
cash prizes were given out. Team
‘Rojak Ninos’ walked away with a
$300 cash prize and team ‘Republica Girlz’ walked away with $200
cash prize. The Most Valuable
