ների ժամանակ են զոհվել Հովակիմ և Հովհաննես Լազարյանների երիտասարդ որդիները ՝ 22 և 23 տարեկանում : Լազարյանները հայ ազգային ազատագրական շարժման կազմակերպիչներ էին և հայապահպանության առաջամարտիկներ : Օգտագործելով ռուսական արքունիքում ունեցած իրենց դիրքն ու հեղինակությունը ՝ նրանք փորձում էին աջակցել Հայաստանի ազատագրմանն ու պետականության հաստատմանը : Արքեպիսկոպոս Հովսեփ Արղությանի , հետագայում Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսի հետ միասին , Հովհաննես Լազարյանը հեղինակում և ռուսական կառավարությանն է ներկայացնում հայտագիր , որը Ռուսաստանի օգնությամբ հայկական պետականությունը վերականգնելու ծրաof the Catholicos of All Armenians Daniel I at the Russian court . He developed the charter of the reformation of the Armenian Church , according to which a Synod was integrated in the church ' s establishment . Thanks to the efforts and authority of the Lazaryans , the Armenian churches of Russia received the right to hang a church bell on the church tower . Hovhannes Lazaryan bought land in Moscow for the Armenian Vagankovo Cemetery as well as initiated the construction of St . Harutyun Armenian Church ten years later in the same place . Saint Catherine ' s Church , the blue pearl of Petersburg , was consecrated also under sponsorship of this famous intellectual and philanthropist . The
