1930-ական թթ-ին , ի թիվս վրացական և հայկական շատ եկեղեցիների , քանդվում է նաև վանքի եկեղեցին , որտեղ էլ գտնվում էր Մանթաշյանցի դամբարանը : Այսօր դժվար է ասել , թե որտեղ է հանգրվանել մեծ հայի աճյունը : Բարի մարդկանց ջանքերով խորհրդանշական գերեզման է ստեղծվել Թբիլիսիի Սուրբ Էջմիածին եկեղեցու բակում , որտեղ հայ գործարարների օգնությամբ տեղ է գտել Ալեքսանդր Մանթաշյանցի կիսանդրին :
Մինչև վերջ նվիրված իր ժողովրդին ու արմատներին , հարստություն կուտակելով , այն ծառայեցրել է մարդկանց կարիքներին :
Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի որոշմամբ ՝ 2012 թ-ին հայ մեծանուն բարերար Ալեքսանդր Մանթաշյանցի արձանը կանգնեցվել է Աբով յան փողոցում , որի բացmausoleum next to the Vank Monastery known as the Armenian Mother Church of Tiflis . In 1903 Mantashyants allocated 50 thousand rubles for the restoration of the entire church complex .
In gratitude , the leader of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia granted him a plot of land in the northern part of the Monastery for the construction of the Mantashyants ’ family mausoleum .
In the 1930s , among many Georgian and Armenian churches , the Monastery Church where Mantashyants ’ s tomb was placed had also been destroyed . Today it is difficult to say where the ashes of the great Armenian rest . Through the efforts of kind people , a symbolic grave was designated in the courtyard of St . Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi , where a bust of Alexander Mantashyants was unveiled with the help of Armenian businesspeople .
