MOHEBBAN EDITIONS
Mohebban Milano presents independent carpet collections for the Mohebban Editions project . Inspired by the art of origami and linear geometry , Berber carpets and prints of the 70s , the authors have presented ten creative lines , and their most interesting experiments will certainly find their connoisseurs . Carpets for the Mohebban Editions project were created by Elena Caponi , Miguel Reguero , Marta Giardini , Ilaria Franza , Serena Confalonieri .
DEIRDRE DYSON PRESENTS HIS NEW COLLECTION FOR 2021 PAPER & STONE
Seven designs for the new PAPER & STONE 2021 Deirdre Dyson rugs collection ( which also includes three carpet wall panels ) are the result of the author ’ s bold experimentations . “ I ’ ve used crumpled paper a lot in my paintings ,” says Deirdre Dyson . “ Using silk and wool instead of the same colour but different tones , we got 2D to 3D surface transformation ”. The wall panels are reminiscent of the masters of masonry , filled with texture depth and amazing light play .
