KLIN: HISTORY, EVENTS, PEOPLE.  
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS OF THE CITY
The article discusses the resource potential of Klin, which is one of the biggest tourist centers of Northern Moscow Region. Particular attention is paid to the historical and cultural attractions and sites of interest for tourists. With its rich
history and well preserved historical and cultural heritage Klin is placed among the «historical cities» of Russia. The tourism potential of the city is defined by architectural objects, objects of the religious sphere, museums, squares and parks,
monuments and sculptural plastic objects, places of military glory, outstanding personalities of the past and present,
events. The article provides a list of the most attractive and interesting tourist sites of the city, events, which potentially
could serve as a «magnet» to attract public attention to the city.
