The Mayakovskaya station operating since 1938 is an object of cultural heritage . The graceful thin columns and mosaic elements on the ceiling arches executed according to sketches of the artist A . A . Deyneki have even received the Grand Prix at the World Fair in New York . In wartime the station located at a depth comparable to height of the 10-storey house served as an air-raid shelter for many Muscovites .

The Alexandrovskiy Sad station differs in the original constructive decision - it is the station with turn directly on a platform . There is a version that the special line of the subway connecting the Kremlin to sensitive sites exactly from here began .
