As a result of the active work of specialists who make up the backbone of the enterprise scientific school,
there has been a tendency to overcome the consequences of the generation gap of researchers and designers
which occurred in the 1990s. Today, the youth of Agat is already a serious force able to take responsibility for
some key areas of scientific research and development. The main designers of a number of works are employ-
ees under 35 years old.
As a result of the creation of the Research Guidance Center for Personnel Training and Retraining, we re-
ceived a reliable and efficient source of personnel replenishment for the developing and scientific depart-
ments. The number of employees graduated the specialized departmentsof MIREA, Bauman Moscow state
University and MPEI is growing. During their student years they work at the Concern, participate in sci entific
and technical conferences, and win their first scientific authority. We already see the best of them as chiefs of
sectors and laboratories.
A continuous modernization of pilot production is made to provide the design ideas embodiment. The
testing of the equipment is carried out in a modern testing center equipped with all the necessary for testing
the instruments which be used in harsh operating conditions.
The departments are equipped with modern means of computer technology and other tools for research
from software to unique benches, installations and devices.
Interest to the production of the Concern is very high, but it should be countedthat the new realities will
change the futureeconomic relations. The importance of the foreign economic relations development, strate-
gic partnership with enterprises of related areas, as well as the development of technical products applicable
in a variety of scientific and civil spheres, where the need for automation and electronic equipment is growing
urgently.
