Creative People, Unite!
parents even say that I write beyond my
years. I am now preparing my first audio
collection The Saddest Evening . 18 poems to
music. It will be available for downloading
everywhere including Apple store. In future,
there will be a big printed collection of more
than 100 poems.
Viktoriya: Those are internal elans you
want to release. Broadly speaking, in order to
write properly, you have to study the theory of
verse and develop your talent. The earlier, the
better. For some time, I studied it a lot myself. I
wondered how it was all created. I learned
from my contemporaries.
Ya r o s l a v : Yo u h a v e m e n t i o n e d
contemporaries and as for me, I read
Pasternak in my free time, for example, on the
way. I like Fame is a Thing Devoid of Beauty very
much.
You have a philological mindset! Why
geography?
I had learned a lot in my line even before I
started studying at the University, due to my
passion for sports. I memorized where this or
that competition took place. So, I am an
athlete, too! (laughing) In fact, creativity is
always helpful… You know, according to the
educational standard, students have to
derive the theme of the lesson themselves.
Thus, I write a poem and they have to guess
what we are going to study.
Viktoriya: I’m listening to you realizing
that I’d like to go to some islands. Vietnam or
Singapore. In general, I often dream of other
places. Their flavors, people, streets… I might
write a book in future. I already have the first
chapter.
Yaroslav: In writing, just like in any
other business, the main thing is to start, and
t h e re s t w i l l fo l l ow i f yo u h a ve e n o u g h
enthusiasm! If we did not have it, we would not
be here now, but we all have our own creative
projects and dreams. We have to go ahead
and certainly seek fellow-thinkers. Creative
people, unite!
Yaroslav: I like learning about other countries
and cities. I want to visit London, Iceland and
Au s t ra l i a . N a t u re i s s o b e a u t i fu l t h e re !
