Poetess’s Diary
What is poetry for you? What role
does it play in your life?
Poetry is a remedy for the soul.
Creativity in itself is to cause the most benign
and gracious features so I don’t like its dark
aspects. There is too much negative stuff in
the world and we should contribute to
something which evokes positive emotions.
For example, I have noticed that if something
is expressed in verses in a highly emotional
manner, it comes true. I mean some wishes or
dreams. The universe seems to get attuned to
you and you start drawing a reality of your
own.
What’s your view of your creative
development?
I like the combination of poetry and
theater. I am now attending the drama studio
that the Zorins dynasty opened some time
ago and I am taking an active part in their
development. I invite everyone interested to
join.
How long have you been in the club?
The club has been existing for about a
ye a r a n d i t a p p e a r e d b y m e r e c h a n c e .
Originally, loud recitals were held by Maks
Radman in the city’s coffee shops and later
we, who regularly visited his events, went
about work. Meetings and communication
w i t h fe l l ow - t h i n ke r s b e g a n . I l i ke a l l o u r
participants and admire their work.
Who do you distinguish among
contemporary poets?
What do you mainly write about and in
what mood?
My themes are different. Usually an
image appears in my head first and then a
rhyme is born. I initially experience a story at
the level of feelings and then I express it on
paper. Inspiration may come at any time. I
remember I was once waiting in a queue and I
wrote a poem on 2 pages! I had a feeling as if
someone was dictating the lines to me.

Solomonova. She is brilliant and outstanding. I
like Irina Astakhova with her charisma and
positive attitude.
Do you want to have a collection of
your poems published in future?
I once tried to publish a collection of
my poems but it had a limited circulation, just
as a gift to my family and friends. Now I am
working on my second collection for a wider
audience.
