“Antonis Tritsis Metropolitan Park for Environmental and Educational
Activities and Social Economy Development” is located between Kifissos
River and the Fleva Gully, in an area called Queen’s Tower or Eptalofos.
It occupies about 1,000 acres, thus being the biggest park in Athens. In
it one can find the namesake tower, a summer retreat of Queen Amalia
and interesting buildings from King Othon (Otto), her husband’s times,
like the old stables, turned today into the Environment and Science
