CLASS 10B: “THE VALUE OF EDUCATION”
This year, our class 10B did a project on education entitled ‘The Value of Education’, focusing on the fact that a right to an education is vital for the economic, social and cultural development of all societies. One thing that stood out was that through education young people can improve their communication. They also take responsibility for their actions and become prepared for a responsible life in a free society. Also they gain skills of critical thinking and the values of freedom of speech, individuality, tolerance of diversity, equality of sexes and friendship between all of us. Children become aware of the human rights that humanity should adopt in order to create a more peaceful global community. They also learn how to cooperate with others and how to solve easily and fairly their problems without using violence.

CLASS 10C: “THE RIGHT TO EDUCATION”
Education is a Human Right (Human Rights Declaration, article 26). Children all around the world have the right to education.
However, there are many factors which deprive children of it. One of them is war, which either destroys schools or forces children to carry guns instead of pens. Poverty also keeps children away from school and makes them work hard from a very young age. Finally, in some countries girls are not allowed to go to school and they are forced to marry early.
A well-known example of a child whose life is dedicated to the right to education is Malala, who was almost killed by the Taliban for disobeying them. She has now become the symbol of all girls fighting for a better future through education.
