"Remember with spring coming, and all the birds singing, time to spread your wings and see what your imagination brings".
After my good night’s rest I headed up to the Olympic National Forest, which is a ten minute drive out of town.
There are miles of easy access trails, a wonderful visitor's center with a great view of the Olympic Mountains, and a quaint little restaurant with an enormous deck; so you can sit outside, enjoy your lunch, and watch the wildlife (especially the many
deer) as they graze on the mountainside.
When you return back to Port Angeles (and relax a little after the events of the day) enjoy the many fine dining options that Port Angeles has to offer.
Whether it be seafood, Italian, Mexican, or Chinese; Port Angeles provides your taste pallet with affordable yet exquisite options to have a wonderful meal.
I ended my last night with a walk along the waterfront.
Which is also a biking/walking trail that stretches from Port Angeles to Sequim and west past Ediz Hook out the Elwha river.
A perfect ending to a perfect trip...
