• Try different mediums. Maybe your child won’t enjoy using
crayons but will like to make collages or cut-outs.
• Make art fun. Go on a scavenger hunt for materials in your
own neighborhood. Incorporate recycled material into art
• Consider your child’s interests. For example, if your child likes
trains, have him paint trains or train stations or photograph
trains.
• Turn on music. Have your child paint what he hears.
