"Speaking of Love"

Greetings Majestic Beings, welcome to this second edition of ‘Spirit Speak’ and today I ask,

Hey, who’s on your love list, yes, who do you love? Now, think about three persons that you love.

And, I bet a dollar to a donut, as the old timers would say, that you didn’t include yourself.

And, have you hugged yourself lately, and, when was the last time

that you looked into the mirror and said you’re beautiful and

perfect!

Ok, our theme this month (February) is ‘Love’ of course,

for Valentines Day. But, we’ll be addressing the subject with the

spiritual eye. Now, the highest level of love is what theologians

call ‘Agape Love’which is the Love that the Most High holds for

men. This is the most pure and non-condemning love possible.

And this is also the arc of love that mankind needs to possess for

himself. And no, this isn’t narcissism – to love you best, because,

until you can love yourself, how are you capable of loving

another. As a modern day poet, George Benson, shared in song,

The greatest love of all is learning to love yourself

So true, until we learn to love and accept ourselves and push past any negativity: self doubt

and distorted self images, etc. no real love is possible.

Happy Valentines Month – Be Blessed

About our blog’s name, Spirit Speak

Now, our second theme, today, is linked to our blog-zine’s title, ‘Spirit Speak’. Did you notice the new,

truly dynamic and expressive logo atop the blog, here? Well, look again, and know it’s the result of

much prayer and inner guidance. It came in this way, firstly, I received that the logo / headliner of

this unique spiritual treatise must be one that tells its purpose, in itself. Thus, to the central title

‘Spirit Speak’ I was given to add ‘the Voice and __________ of the Holy Spirit’. Now, this blank line

changed almost a half dozen times, in a couple weeks, from,

The Silence’ (which is important) because we need realize that the Spirit often expresses in a silent whisper)

to ‘Power’ (also, very important to understand) to ‘Peace’ and on - to finally, at the very last hour,

even at press time, the Spirit said, to make it ‘Presence’ – ‘the Voice and Presence of the Holy Spirit” .

because ‘Presence’ is all inclusive and incorporates all of the other attributes. Yes, in the Presence

of the Holy Spirit is Power, His Peace and also His Silence. See, his Presence fills your supposed

need, and my supposed needs; yes, it fills all, totally and perfectly!

And lastly, the Spirit moved me to add to the message “in our everyday lives”. And actually the

addiction of ‘everyday’ came by way of the graphic designer.

See, Spirit can use whom it will to get it’s message out, but, that’s another lesson for next time.

I just wanted to share and open up the powerful logo / message with you, that you might get

ready and buckle up, because, here, you’re in for a real spiritual ride.
