I decided that I was not willing to sacrifice my health and energy, and that I would be more of a benefit to the world making a contribution doing something I am passionate about, and coming from a place of abundant energy, rather than a place of burn out! So I packed in my low paid jobs (of which there were several) and set up my business doing something I love – coaching and writing for women to have fantastic lives and relationships – and even though logic would tell you it’s not the right time to start a business, within the first three months my business was already making more money than I would have made working hours all the hours doing the lower paid jobs. As soon as we made the decision that this is what we were doing no matter what, despite not knowing ‘how’, everything just shifted around to make it possible for us. A family member came forward and offered to loan us some money towards buying the motorhome (the van) which we were able to add to what we had already made from selling our possessions and working. I think that they were inspired by seeing our commitment to our dream and that is what made them offer to help. And so we bought the van that we now travel around in. This help came out of the blue, we had no idea this was an option for us. We also went ahead with our wedding plans, and again the money was there, from various sources including money we earned, wedding gifts and so on. Now we are living life on our own terms. My partner and I travel from place to place in our motorhome, with our dog Charlie. We do housesitting in the UK and Europe, meaning that we look after other people’s houses while they are away, and get free accommodation in return. This means that we get to live in luxury, enjoying all the comforts of a house. As I write this we are in a cottage in Northumberland UK, sitting in front of a roaring log fire, with a cupboard full of Christmas food that the owners ZENSPIRATION.ORG 97
