Make every minute count None of us know the date when we will depart this life so it is important to learn early on to love and appreciate the life we were fortunate enough to receive. Just as important, is that we need to value the lives of others too. Life is so tenuous and we don’t get a second chance to come back and do it differently. Life is not a dress rehearsal. It is here and it is now. Now is all we have and now is when we have to get it right if we want to avoid any regrets. Appreciate life as a miracle To be here in life at all is just random chance when you think about it. As a result of one little swimmer connecting with one particular minute egg we were blessed to experience all that nature has. It could so easily have been another swimmer that connected with another egg and we would never have existed. Is that a miracle or not? Life is literally a gift and one that should not be squandered. The bottom line is that we are no more than the result of a random miracle. Each and every one of us is a miracle of the universe, no one is “more” and no one is “less” than another. No one chose their “being” so no one has the right to judge another’s “being”. We should be humbled if born into riches as we could so easily have been born into poverty. We should definitely live life with gratitude and appreciation. We should live it wit h respect to each other’s existence. We should value the miracle of nature for making it possible for us to just “be”. We should cry tears of joy and gratitude at the breathtaking beauty of the playground we were born into to enjoy.
