4. Conclusions
In this paper, we propose a stand‐alone PMS and remote control and monitoring EMS for ESS
safety operation that can be connected with the photovoltaic power generation facilities currently under
development in Korea.
The proposed system collects photovoltaic power and grid power information in real time and,
based on the collected data, problems of operation of existing system due to charge / discharge control
of battery and control of power transmission power, as well as characteristics of the power system and
the weather, can be ameliorated. It is expected that this system will provide stable power quality by
improving output instability due to external environmental factors
