In this study, the results of unitification and modularization of the required spaces for applying
the modular construction method to the Healthy Life Support Center are as follows. First, analyze the
floor plan of 50 Healthy Life Support Centers currently in operation and the spatial proximity between
the average application area information and the required spaces of 28 subject spaces. Second, selection
of basic module 3.37m(W)×5.65m(L)×3.30m(H) considering design criteria and transport of modular
units. Third, out of 28 subject spaces required, 13 unitificated modular unit floor plans including stair
rooms and 3 modular module floor plans combining 16 unitificated modular units are presented,
considering the design basis and the application scale of the case project.
The results of this study are thought to be available as basic data for ordering and designing of the
Healthy Life Support Centers in the future. When planning Healthy Life Support Centers using
modular construction methods, it can be applied to the study of setting standards for factory
manufacturing from design to manufacturing.
