Abstract: The soundproof walls beside roads are useful for PV installment places. This study aims to
analyze the power and openness of soundproof PV walls and to suggest the developing probability.
For the study, the simulation by Solar Pro and Sketch Up are performed on the Chungju P apartment
buildings. The Sketch Up and Solar Pro program are used to evaluate the PV wall performances. As a
result, the installation ratio of solar cells had the largest impact on their power performance and
openness, and it was found that power performance is inversely proportional to openness.
