Abstract: This study is to examine the applicability of PVC flexible sheet material as a thermal collector
of PVT and to find the optimal pattern of flow channels. To determine suitability with a PVT thermal
collector, durability must be verified, a pattern of flow channels is required to uniformize fluid
distribution, and it is necessary to minimize the pressure loss. In this study, we examined the
possibility of applying PVC flexible sheet as a PVT thermal collector by forming channel through high
frequency welding. Particularly, the differential pressure and velocity distribution according to the
pattern of flow channel were measured and the pressure proof test was performed to confirm the
durability.
