2.1.2. Los Manzanos Housing Building 
Located at 16°23ʹ7.80ʺS 71°32ʹ50.87ʺW, at an altitude of 2385 meters. It is a multifamily housing and 
offices building designed by Karina Malaga, with 7 levels and 2 basements. The project has roof gardens 
that allow the development of urban agriculture at all levels of the building, improving environmental 
conditions while maintaining humidity and providing oxygen. The building has 72.90 m2 of free area, 
of which 57.93 m2 (approximately 80%) are green roofs. Additionally, there are 48 m2 of green roofs in 
total in the rest of the building, which corresponds to 20% of the total land area conserved as a green 
area (Fig.2).
