The goal of our experience, Z In Search of The Sustainable Soul, was to immerse ourselves in three different dimensions - mystical, ethical and ecological.
Mystical dimension - We are led to seek the depths of mystery and interiority, to give depth and meaning of life -
(our relationship with the God of our understanding,)
Ethical dimension - Students are led to recognize the sacredness in others and seek to be the face of God's mercy in the world - (our relationship with others)
Ecological dimension - Students are led to recognize the sanctity of the Earth and the fostering of living simply - (our relationship with our earth)
Design Thinking

Using what we learned in Peru about the loss of culture many different villages face as the country evolves, we have decided to use the design thinking process to create a childrens book in hopes of helping educate youth about their history of these communities. We have decided to have our guide, Roldan, as our main character for our book. We hope to share this story with the lower school here at ASH and send copies of our book back to the villages we spent time with in Peru.
