More than our guide, Roldan spent the week with us, encouraging us to challenge ourselves, and showing us the region in which he has lived all his life. His passion for the Amazon was evident the moment we met him at the airport. His energy helped us to stay positive throughout the duration of our experience in Peru, especially when our exhaustion got in the way of truly experiencing the rainforest. Always with a smile on his face, Roldan brought us into the Amazon, exposed us to the beautiful and diverse culture of the rainforest, and left the magical image of the Amazon in our minds for years to come.
